Rich Weston, CIC, Honored by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors as Top One Percent of All Insurance Professionals in the United States

Physicians Insurance Senior Account Executive Rich Weston, CIC, was recently honored for his ongoing pledge to education, commitment to excellence, and dedication to the insurance profession. The Society of Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC), a not-for-profit continuing education organization for insurance professionals, presented Rich with a formally inscribed certificate for his continued participation in the CIC Program.

Earning his CIC designation and maintaining all the update requirements for 20 years places Rich in the top one percent of all insurance professionals in the country. “The high standards of leadership maintained by Rich not only benefits Physicians Insurance and his clients, but the insurance profession as a whole,” said William J. Hold, CRM, CISR, CEO and president of the Society of CIC.

I was able to talk with Rich about this milestone. Reflecting on the CIC Program, Rich said, “Earning the Certified Insurance Counselor designation 20 years ago was the embarkation point in my professional development. Participation continues to drive me to constantly learn and improve my expertise. It has helped me advise and advocate for our clients, and better assist them in developing their individual insurance/risk management strategies.”
