Helping our community this holiday season by donating to Massachusetts Food Banks

This year, in recognition of the growing food insecurity issues in the Commonwealth, and very generously matched by Coverys, we have partnered to donate a total of $5000 to the Massachusetts Emergency Food Assistance Program (MEFAP) member Food Banks to support our communities during this difficult time.

MEFAP is providing critical funding to four Massachusetts food banks — the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, The Greater Boston Food Bank, and the Worcester County Food Bank, ensuring the distribution of resources where needed most.

Over the last 15 years, Physicians Insurance has given over a million dollars to physician-run charitable organizations. We decided that this holiday season that our clients would want to see us extend our philanthropic efforts to the community at large. Physicians Insurance President Thomas Bryant commented that “In light of reality, it seems like the only thing to do.” We felt this gesture would be the best way to thank you for your ongoing support.
