February 3, 2021 marks the fourth annual National Women Physicians Day. This day honors Elizabeth Blackwell’s birthday. She was born this day in 1821 and died on May 31, 1910. She was the first female medical doctor in the U.S, and all women physicians across the United States, and the progress they’ve made since Blackwell’s time.
