CISA, FBI, and HHS warn of ransomware threats, encourage providers to take IT precautions:
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) have credible information about an increased and imminent cybercrime threat to U.S. hospitals and health care providers. The above agencies are sharing this information to warn health care providers and allow them time to protect their computer networks from attack. The following documents cover the technical details of the threat and mitigation best practices for IT staff.
